Povidone-iodine 10% solution is a broad-spectrum antiseptic for cleaning skin before minor procedures and for disinfecting minor cuts, grazes and wounds.
Directions for use:
Apply undiluted to the affected skin with cotton wool or gauze and allow to dry. May be covered with a dressing. For external use only. Do not use if you are allergic to iodine or have a thyroid disorder. Avoid regular or large-area use in pregnancy, during breastfeeding and on newborns unless advised by a health worker. May stain fabrics.
